Six Directions Qi Practice: Expanding and Absorbing Universal Energy
The Six Directions Qi Practice is a powerful energy-enhancing technique that strengthens our ability to connect with, absorb, and integrate universal energy into the Qi ball within the lower tan tien.
By extending our awareness to the front, back, left, right, above, and below, we tap into the infinite energetic field that surrounds us, ensuring a balanced, dynamic flow of Qi within the body.
Each direction holds a unique energetic resonance:
- Front – The path of intention and manifestation, representing our future and personal aspirations.
- Back – The energy of support and stability, connecting us to our past, ancestors, and accumulated wisdom.
- Right – The active, yang side, associated with action, expression, and external movement.
- Left – The receptive, yin side, linked to intuition, inner awareness, and adaptability.
- Above – The connection to celestial wisdom, higher consciousness, and cosmic inspiration.
- Below – The grounding force of Earth energy, stability, and deep-rooted nourishment.
By systematically gathering Qi from all six directions, we refine and harmonise our internal energy, increasing vitality, energetic awareness, and the ability to store and direct Qi effectively.
